It’s been two weeks now since I started over again!! And I feel great!

The last year has been a bit of a write off in terms of my diet and health but one of the happiest times for me (I got engaged and bought a house!). Now, I haven’t weighed myself yet because the fear of stepping on the ‘sad step’ has got to me! Previously when I’d been good, I’d weigh myself at least every week (if not every couple of days) and this became obsessive. I also became incredibly down about how much weight I hadn’t lost that I lost my focus and confidence in what I was doing which resulted in me going back to eating whatever I wanted (and sometimes, just whatever I could find). I will step on those scales soon (I’m thinking the 4 week mark?!) but for now, I’m measuring my new ‘diet’ on the following and it is keeping me going!!

Indigestion/heartburn - Rennie’s used to be a staple in my diet, I’d consume maybe 3/4 of these a day to take care of my crippling heartburn. I can now say that I haven’t had any form of heartburn/indigestion/acid reflux in two weeks (literally from the day I started over again). That for me is huge progress!!🙌🏼

Sleep - I can now actually fall straight to sleep when I go to bed (it takes me 2 minutes of laying down!) and, minus the odd toilet trip, I sleep all the way through!

Skin - This is by far the best one for me... So I used to get constant spots all around my jawline, leading up to my cheeks. It used to be a constant battle for me trying to get rid of them, trying to find new products to use. Now, my skin isn’t completely clear (I got two spots the other day - it’s going to happen, I’m a girl and I have oily skin!) but my skin has cleared up no end and it actually looks kind of dewy!

I know that what I’m eating is doing it’s job and that I probably have lost a bit of weight, but for now I’m happy with these things and will keep reminding myself that I’m doing great! 💕
