No journal entry yesterday. Was such a busy day without it meant to be. I saw a friend I haven't seen in 16+ yrs and decided she didn't live far so walked with the bike that I was giving her.Well, that should have taken me about 40 mins.Ended up taking about an hr and 40 mins even with the odd cycle in that.Note to self: shortcuts are not always what they seem! haha. I also got lost-yay.Once there I had a lovely time catching up.
31/07/13 @20:43 so all is well and I had the most scrummy tea.Nice stirfry but hot on the lips.Maybe that chilli was a little too large!! I've also ate my first ever Scotch pancake-yum.nice but not enough of it ;-) . No, it was fine really when I put all the berries etc with it.Quite filling.I put it under snacks but I guess really it was a 'pudding' as my 10 cal Hartleys jelly was my snack.
Not used to having a pudding/desert but I'm following Slimming World properly this wk (ok, with the odd tweek, i.e-changed my yoghurt flavour or not added ginger to today's dish).So, I am having a pudding. Been to the gym, didn't run 5k this time, just 2k but added weights and rowing today.

I've always been a slowburner when it comes to weight loss despite being active and I'm used to having one bad food and putting on so it didn't come as a shock when I decided to weigh in this morning and am now 159.4kg.
The last few days when I let fat secret slide towards the last couple days I would have gone way over my calorie deficit target but I knew I was going to do a flat out week of Slimming World this week so thought 'what the heck'. Sometimes it gets you like that especially when you see others losing more with what seems much less effort.
Anyway, I know that is how my weight goes, 2 steps forward and 1 back each time even when I am working so hard at it. I am not going to think about it anymore now and just get on with it.I accept that is me,it just annoys me from time to time.
Now I have 'written' it down, it's time to move on..........
Doctors for my annual regular blood test then I'm hitting the exercise again.Managed a 5k run on the treadmill yesterday along with cycling and rowing.

Ok so it's now 13:20, half way through day 2 of Slimming world only week menu plan from this months edition. Lunch was lovely.

Last bit to add.So I have just done a late night step aerobics session via EA Sports Active on my Wii console.The Wii exercises are quite tame for me but EA is very good and pushes me hard.I purchased a 3" platform to go under my Wii balance board so it would have been rude not to have tried it out wouldn't it? I can safely say I felt that stretch in the legs.Just did 20 mins as it is very late.

Well what a bizarre eating day that was.
I decided as I lightly touch on the Slimming World method anyway that I'd do 1 solid week of it this week starting today.Kept the gumf from when I done it online a few yrs back.Yes, I know it will have been updated since but ay, it's just a guide.I decided to do the set week in this months mag.So, I had the scrambled egg on toast but without the mushrooms and tomatoes(forgot to buy) whoops, so had an extra egg. ;-) Lovely.Kept me going all morning, went shopping and the gym, came home and decided to have the lunch as an early tea.It was delish and very filling.It was a Mexican Chicken Salad.Was hot on the ole lips though-spicy!!
As I had tea early or lunch late I skipped the tea or I'd only now be eating it at 10pm.
The yoghurt with the fruit I had just because I thought I ought to if I'm honest other wise my calorie intake would have been around 900 for the day which really isn't good.I may wish to lose weight but want to stay healthy too! I have not even wanted or thought of any more or extra food.
