I started the Mayo Clinic Diet a couple of days ago. Today is my chocolate day. I’m going to treat myself to two small chocolate chip cookies.
First two weeks is “crunch time.” After that, build on good habits.
Swearing off candy, pastries, and other baked goods. My nemesis is all the sugar I eat.
I’m eating a lot more veggies and fruit. And I think I have memorized the whole “fats” thing. Mono unsaturated and poly unsaturated are good. Trans and saturated are bad.

Might be a fluke or maybe the 200.8 pounds was the fluke. Managed to hover around 1600 cal yesterday. I’m going to buy a big cookie, but I’m going to cut it in half and give the other half to my grandniece.

Well, I finally did it. I broke 200, but I’m going in the wrong direction 😜. My 50th high school reunion is next year, so I have a long term goal. My weekly goal is 1 to 2 pounds a week.
So … I’m back on FatSecret!
