I decided to follow an intermittent fasting site and became totally obsessed with food during my eating window ... lesson learned. This weigh in is me having lost 2lb from my disaster. I am now eating what I fancy, within reason, still keeping my sugar intake in check, and my eating has relaxed naturally and I am slowly dropping back down. I don't know why I keep trying to control my intake in extreme ways, when all I need to do is listen to my body 🙄. I will say though, I am still happy with how I am looking and no self critical thoughts going on, so my head is finally in the right place 🙆🏼♂️

I have been without a proper bathroom for a month while it's been refitted, total nightmare washing in the kitchen! Finally finished it this morning and had my first weigh in (and shower eww) for a month too, so considering I haven't been watching my weight on the scales, I think that's not too bad. ⚖🙆♀️

Reckon a smidge of that is muscle gain (not all), I am moving a lot more now due to working and feel stronger in my legs and arms. Also tidying out a house is quite a physical job in itself, but it's very gratifying too.

and back in control of my eating..... I have been wanting to lose more weight, but realise that I am falling for the media 'ideals', I am actually quite happy where I am and as a 50+er, I actually look quite healthy as I am.

Struggling to get into a routine now I am working away from home, 10+hr shifts are a killer for my WOE. I take in a healthy lunch, but have the snack attacks when I get home and over indulge. It's pure discipline that's needed, hopefully will get back to the mindset this week. I am also working an extra day whilst another new staff member is trained, so tired eating is another issue. The positives are that I am moving more working in a shop, the newspapers give me a good workout morning and evening, esp. the weekend ones, they weigh a tonne!
