I’m 51 and it’s time to put all of my hard-earned, healthy-living knowledge to work. Yes, I know the importance of exercise and good nutrition. And yes, I feel and look amazing. But I know midlife will bring some special health challenges. The good news is that none of those challenges have to stop me from living a vibrant and productive life — for decades to come. So, to keep myself in the best of health...

I pay attention to heart health, T2Diabetes and early signs of other autoimmune diseases so I can stay in remission and be off of any medications for the longest time …

Certain screening tests such as PAP, HbA1C, blood pressure, cholesterol, mammogram and colorectal cancer — are part of my healthy living routine...

I learn to live with menopause miseries, accepting the fact that even hot flashes are part of life so no need to rant about it …

I don’t worry about weight fluctuations, but I do continue to live an active lifestyle to maintain healthy weight and keep the fat off for good …

I fix a balanced, healthy plate of fruits, vegetables and lean protein on a daily basis and have followed a Mediterranean Diet lifestyle since 2018 …

Intuitive and mindful eating kicked-in in 2019 so I no longer have to rigorously log food...

I take supplements such as Magnesium, Iron, Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Vitamin B-12 and Biotin to keep my skin, hair, nails healthy while getting awesome sleep everyday ...

Lastly, but not the least, I maintain my incredible sense of humor, purpose and positivity by finding meaning in the “day-to-day” AND by avoiding toxic folks who's got nothing better to do but taunt others with their "attention-grabbing" skills...
