I am an average guy who is happily married with 2x kids (one newborn & one toddler). I have hypothyroidism (under-active thyroid, which meant i got tired, mentally slow & gained weight. Even though i exercise a lot its taken a while to bring my diet intake into line with my metabolic rate. I have decided to calorie count and limit my diet to 2500 calories every other day. On the other day I will consume approx 600 calories. As a result of my weight loss i am clearer headed, more sharp, sometimes ratty, but feeling more alive!
