Finally OneDerLand!

The last time I was 198 was 30 years ago :) This starts day 6 of the liquid fast. Yesterday ended two days of water fasting. It was working well and I had more energy than normal (because I did not have the insulin spikes from sugary liquids) but I felt sorry for myself because I could not have my normal pizza on Friday night and had a cup of hot chocolate (with whole milk and whip cream 300 calories). Oh well...

Today I continue on with the 11 day liquid diet and plan to run 5 miles.

** 5:50pm Update ** I ran 5 miles in the hot Southern California sun. Get back and jump of the scale (because I like to do that) and it said 194. Umm I'm not going to record that because it is the definition of dehydrated, but it was fun to make the scale do that :) I just drank two bottles of Fiji water and have not needed to go to the bathroom. So yeah, I am dehydrated...

Decided to just drink water for the remainder of the 11 day fast. I had the butter in my coffee with MCT oil cappuccino this morning, and while it tasted great, I missed the "empty stomach with no hunger feeling" I got from the water only days. Imagine being free from hunger and energy fluctuations. You don't feel full and then not full, you just... exist.

** 7:24pm Update ** I am finally feeling back to normal. You can't drop 6 pounds in one day without being dehydrated. Otherwise the math does not work out. You can't burn that much fat in one day, so to drop that many pounds you're subtracting from somewhere that you shouldn't be subtracting from! Being dehydrated is not fun. My mistake was that I had butter coffee this morning and acted like it counted toward my water intake. It did not! It 'subtracted' from my water intake! So I started a run with a water deficiency. Had I stuck to water only today I don't think this would have happened...

** 4/29/2018 Update ** Woke up at 197. Did another 5 mile run. Did NOT make the mistake from the previous day :)

@Roschelle McGowan - You will get there for sure! My wife has gone through two hip replacements and we have had to start with a walk down the block and back. Finally moving to longer and longer (we can now do 3 miles no problem. Then another surgery and start again. The process takes months of patience, but we get there :)
