AN EXPERIMENT:
Well my family and friends.. I have some informative information that you should maybe make a mental note on...especially is your a slave to the scale...
Yesterdays journal I stated my new weight of 141.4 lb. and also my measurements...
I had lost in a months time 5.8 lbs.. that is about 1.4 lbs. estimated average for the week.
Now being that I'm doing and have done experimenting as I had mentioned in yesterdays wt. journal...we were talking of the reasons I had chose to only weigh monthly and one was for the mere fact that I fluctuate because I have foods I'm sensitive to.
If your not familiar with food sensitives ..its not that I'm allergic to a certain type of food but when certain foods are digested it can either make me feel bloated....or it can make me fluctuate on the scale and in turn can cause me to think I'm not losing ..but gaining or I'm stalled.... and none of that...that I had mentioned is the truth...far from it...its just that I am sensitive to digestion of certain foods..
Experiment on myself:
My intake was sodium laden yesterday, I had cook some smoke thick bacon pieces and some bok choy veggie for a different vegetable to dine on....it was delicious and I had enjoyed a bowl of it yesterday..another sodium laden food in my intake was the 2 oz of salted almonds and the rest of the day was normal and also I had stayed in my macros for the entire day....
I got up this morning and got on the scale for my experiment and it was 144.2... now that's how food and being sensitive to it works...I'm training my mind that I'm the same as yesterday and that I just am sensitive to sodium...3.2 lbs. up is what that scale had said and I stayed on plan...??...and as I'm drinking water to flush my system...I had weighed at work similar to one I weigh on at home.. and its already back down to 142.4...another lb. and it will be the correct weight again...
you must figure out what is causing you to have the numbers go up... especially if your following accordingly to your plan... and then we must train your mind that the number may not be correct and probably isn't ...and we need to listen to our bodies and what it is telling us...my measurements 129.75 waist...137.5 hips and 20.5 thigh is all the same as yesterday then why does that scale say differently....because I have food sensitivities ..and the scale hasn't a clue of that...
Im training myself to not rely on that scale and to strengthen my mind to know the difference... this is going to be a goal of mine one day ...put that scale completely away and not be a slave to a number ...have control of my mind and just trust me to feel the difference....

Those scale bounces are so discouraging but I’m glad you’re so smart and know it’s just water from food sensitivities. Your measurements are fantastic! Hugs to you!

Well hugs to you and there ok sweetie I'm petite so its still needs so working on firming up is a necessity now... I usually feel pretty decent around w-28...hips 36....thigh well I'm okay with them maybe 18....I guess lol Hugs to you gf I hope your sleeping well xoxoxo;)

I am going thru the exact same thing. 4 pounds - AUGH, but I'm doing everything correctly. Your journal couldn't have been at a better time. I'm eating more fish than ever this week? Hmmm But my clothes feel good. Keto On!
