I think I am just going to starve myself for a few days! Aggghhhh......this sucks!

Don, Try 2300 - 2100 cals a day on average, avoid any extra sugar, white flour, deserts, high fat foods, etc...with your activity level you should see steady fat loss and reduced inflammation pretty quick and steady fat (weight) loss month over month with no need to go lower than this (if ever) for quite some time. Also, invest in a good heart Rate based activity monitor...that will help both in exercise/training and with calculating a more accurate daily calorie burn. Lastly, don't get discouraged through Christmas season...my first Christmas season I "gained" 5 pounds but quickly lost those 5 in the New Year. Take care Mate and good luck!! You won't be by yourself if you fast a few days. I prefer seeking a sustainable diet for weight loss. IMO, there is less chance for a sudden and dramatic rebound. I do suggest that you continue log and track calorie intake and activity. You will be able to crunch the numbers and determine what works for you. Everyone is different. Right now I'm doing shooting for 1800 calories a day to maintain my current weight. Keep trying and doing what works for you and you will succeed...
