Dinner was tastier and more filling than it looks. I raised my calories, kept my net carbs real low today and didn't eat any cheese today! Going to cut cheese for a few days, see how I feel... wish me luck, cheese has been my go to snack lately...

Cheese is so processed and usually full of salt....so you will most certainly feel better leaving it out :)

@schmetterlinge34 I have been using cheese a lot since I am doing a Keto WOE. Helps me get that LCHF but I also like to challenge myself and try new things and ways of doing things and switching up my meals. I only buy high quality cheeses though, still highly processed and full of salt too.

What are some 'go to' foods for a keto WOE? With Atkins I could just eat some meat but I'm having some difficulty with this new plan

@newnbetter I like following others on Instagram and this app to get ideas (or inspire others). But my go to foods are usually any types of meats or fish, but nothing breaded or processed, lots of bacon, a variety of cheeses, cream cheese, full fat Greek yogurt, pickles, cucumbers, bell pepper slices, pork rinds, broccoli, miracle noodles, avocado oil, avocados, butter, Almond flour, coconut oil, chia seeds, heavy cream, eggs, coconut milk, nuts, seeds, cauliflower rice, bone broth, and for my higher carb up days I do sweet potato or carrots. I basically gave you my grocery list, sorry! 🙈 I have learned this WOE is basically learning new ways to combine these foods in new ways, sticking to portion control, and switch things up. I was eating the same things most days and hit a plateau in my weight... with some research I learned about keeping your body guessing and carb up days to refuel.

@newnbetter it just takes a little more time at the store to read labels, not all brands are made equally... but then once you find items you like and fit this WOE, make a list, pictures or mental notes! I have celiac so I am used to fully reading every label... oh and kraut, coffee, teas, apple cider vinegar, Himalayan Pink Salt and some people use fake sugar/sugar subs like stevia... I don't use stevia it gives me migraines, not proud but I bought sucralose in case I want to "bake" myself something which will be very rare. And I keep cans of Coke Zero in the cabinet in case I feel naughty 🙈
