TaniaBarnet's Journal, 09 Mar 12

I look fatter than a week or so ago. I've had such en emotional fortnight with lots of my nearest and dearest getting seriously ill (3 people in hospital) and now my ex husband is fighting for his life. I came from hospital yesterday. I was really hungry. Wanted to stop and pick up some KFC but thought better of it and decided to eat some salad at home. Then remembered I had some cheese and ham and leftover mushrooms and decided to make pitta pockets. Unfortunately, my stomach couldn't handle the food after such an emotional day and I threw up. Managed to eat half of the second pitta slowly-slowly and drink some of the Sprite. This morning I had no solid food. Just a coffee with milk and sugar. Not hungry yet. Tried to ring the hospital but the line was busy. Feel both scared and eager to find out if there are any news. What if ex cannot breathe on his own? Does that mean they will have to consider pulling the plug? Can they pull the plug when a man's brain is intact? I am so worried!

Dont panic if he cant breathe on his own there are several things they can try so although its nerve wracking hang in there hope all of them make a quick recovery if you are not eating properly then make sure you get lots of fluids into you many people do a liquid fast and come to no harm because of your intermittent eating you are most likely retaining fluid I bet by Monday your body will be showing a loss - either on the scales or on the tape measure look after yourself remember you cant run around after everyone else if you cant look after yourself do you meditate if not look up breathing meditation as that is a good place to start - that will help still your racing mind H xxxx
