Made my own version of the Fat Burning Soup diet... managed to reduce from 190 pounds to today (1st May 2017) 166 pounds in 30 days. No dairy (apart from semi-skimmed milk in my tea) no bread, cake or biscuits (cookies)lots of fruit and veg and a weekly portion of lean steak, grilled salmon steak and chicken breast (Deborah Barone style... lemon chicken). Can now fit shirts, shorts, slacks, sweaters I've long put in the wardrobe and not embarrassed to wear swimming gear and to swim and sunbathe. Now looking forward to my Mediterranean Cruise on 4th May with newly gained confidence. Secret: determination and too long avoiding mirrors.

Diary: 1st May 2017. Weight 166 pounds. Today's planned intake: 4 cups of tea with skimmed milk (may be one or two more) = 40 calories; 8 strawberries (no sugar, cream etc.) = 50 calories, 16 grapes = 50 calories; pink lady apple = 55 calories; 375 ml of pinot grigio in spritzers = 240 calories; grilled chicken breast = 200 calories; large portion of grilled vegetables = 100 calories; uncooked celery and carrot throughout the day = 50 calories. TOTAL CALORIES: 705 CALORIES. My expected calorie burn for my age and activity is 1,800 calories. Therefore, today, I'm taking in over 1,000 calories less than I burn. AND I FEEL FIT AND HEALTHY
