I don't know if I would call it a hiatus, summer, falling off the wagon or a combination.

Summer came and with that was lots of traveling which is fun but not a lot of me time. I have not been eating horribly but not great. I can still wear my new size jeans but I can tell they are a little snug and I am just NOT having that.

It is terrible that one must get in this mindset. I have to get myself ramped up to get in the right frame of mind to get back on things. The exercise thing has been a bit of a bummer because at some point I strained something and my hip has been sore and then I pulled something and the back of my knee sore. Not sure if that is just a combination of "over 40" now but ibuprofen helps.

It is such a vicious cycle...I get up at 4:30 am to start work at 5am and then I am tired so I don't go to the gym...but I know I am partly dragging because I am not going to the gym but how to get yourself back there. I have just had to give myself a swift kick.

I do not know what challenges are coming up, but my personal challenge is this: Strictly low carb for the next two weeks with hitting the gym at least 5 days a week (weekends are hard because hubby does not really like me going on the weekends).

There is such a lovely curve in your weight loss chart! Be encouraged by how well you have already done; thankfully you are close to your goal. I totally get the 'too tired to get to the gym' thing; after work, I'd really like to go home and take a nap, but when I do get there I am always so glad I did.

Thank you F8thful1! It is so easy to fall off and the thing is I KNOW I feel better when I go to the gym and I know I feel better when I do not eat all the processed sugars and refined foods, but it is hard. I appreciate the positive words as it is just the little things (like your comment) that will help me keep the incentive to go.
