Happy Friday.

This morning, I got in the elevator with a colleague who borrowed my computer cart last night in preparation to bring in free donuts and bagels and cream cheese for two floors on Fridays in the summer (provided by the company). We glanced at each other, said good morning to each other and I closed my eyes pretending to be still tired until I ascended to the 3rd floor. I held my breath for 10 seconds so I wouldn't be consumed by the probably an amazing smelling air. The doors opened on my floor, he had to stop up on the 5th floor before coming back to my floor and I told him I would see him shortly. Fast forward 15 minutes. He returned the cart and thanked me for the usage and I guess what, I am not budging. I am sitting at my desk drinking a coffee with 2 splashes of cream and a tsp. of coconut oil. This was a great week. I came down nicely in weight. I did a 31 hr. fast between Tuesday and Wednesday and broke it with a meal that fit the macros for a LCHF way of eating. Thursday, I hit my macros again and plan to do the same today. Hold on, getting an instant message from him. Here is the count of what he brought in: 18 dozen donuts, 12 dozen muffins, 250 ish bagels

I am a survivor. Make it count. Happy Friday again.

Good job in staying strong and sticking with reality and truth. I faced similar temptation last night at home. DH bought out several dozen freshly soft baked chocolate chip cookies. I had to repeat my FS determination mantra: "I would rather have my weight loss than that cookie! (monster)" And donuts are now "Do NOTs!" What are your mantras?

Donut day is Wednesday here. Since it's early in the day my will power is max. Once the box is in the trash I rest easy knowing it's a win. Good job. I feel for ya.

just a general guess on calories the math on that is astounding. 75,600 cals on the donuts, 72,000 on the muffins and 125,000 for the bagels. That's 78 pounds of calories. Someone please check my math.

@JAYMAINE.........Hmmmm, that sounds about right. It's got to be some ridiculous number for sure. I need the portion sizes to be exact. Whatever way you cut it donuts don't do a body good. Thank goodness I never really liked them.

i have been trying for years to talk my company in to providing something other than cr@ppy food as treats but they won't go for it. everyone wants the bagels, doughnuts, cakes, and ice cream. can't we have something other than food? or at least healthy food???

I'm a donut guy...love em'. Donut day once a week would ruin my plan, but on occasion I'm good for 3-4 when they're available.

You are AMAZING! Baked goods can turn most seemingly normal people into a drooling, snarling eating machine (on a mental level only, of course). Cyber high five!

I'm transitioning to an "eat-anything-you-want" day on Holidays, which fortunately for me happen about once a month. I don't plan to indulge every holiday, but adding a few in is in the plan. I'll probably wait another few months, though. @Mahjohn- have I told you recently how much I appreciate everything you post?!

Donuts are what did me in last fall/winter. Resisting is getting easier.

They don't even look like food to me anymore.

hey guys, sry for spam, but i have question, i'm new here! Does the calorie breakdown (macro) calculates new macro for each day(breakfast+lunch+dinner), or it calculates what you ate on you diet from beginning?

Figured it out, sry for spam, it calculates new macro for each day :* ✌️
