When I see Blue Viking's avatar I think to myself. I love that crown! If I wore it, I wouldn't be able to see the beautiful workmanship, also must be heavy. LOL. I rather admire it instead :) See, I have silly thoughts too!

I have decided not to weigh myself again till June 30th. Luckily I am not obsessed with scales. I don't want the # on the scale to take the focus of my experiment of using visualization, meditation and positive affirmations to reach my goal weight on that day. I will continue eating my favorite foods. I will log my food and exercise. I want to enjoy every moment of this journey. After June 30th, I will have a new experiment. Here it is again: Unlimited possibilities :)

So true SW - thanks for the gentle reminders each day. Good luck on reaching your goal weight on June 30 - I KNOW you will do it, perhaps even surpass.

Sugar: Visualization is an amazing tool. I'm not sure who said it first but 'your body is easy to change, it's your mind you have to convince.' The mind is a powerful tool that many people don't utilize. I'm excited to see your weigh in on June 30th because I know you are going to rock the house!

Kppgreen, I know you love nature. After meditating before work, I focused on riving the speed limit. (I drive fast). It was like I was seeing the world through new eyes. Brought me to tears. It only lasted about 10 min, then speeding kicked back in. ----- Glen, for many, many years I felt like I was in a pit. Glad that I could stand up, that was about it. Life sucked. 2 yrs ago I read something that changed my life forever. I am eternally grateful for the person who posted it on FB. It was like he pulled me out of the pit. I never looked back, but than that man many times a day. Glen, this is where words can be so powerful. We never know how we can change someone's life for the better, just by our thoughts or words.

Sugar and Glen, you've really touched on something here. I'm trying to grab the ladder...slippery hands though and that occasional "victim" mentality. I guess it's all in the attitude. I appreciate your insight. Master of our own destiny, heh ?

Thanks everybody. What an inspirational thread is being woven here. Often I say myself, "To thine own self be true." That "it is what it is." So don't let fear or pride (the big love clogs/stoppers) get in the way. This is myselfie talk, especially when I am standing on the scale for my daily "big reveal" moment. Wow - no scales for months could be a great challenge for those who would hate stepping on the scales too. Then you could really have a very big reveal day on June 30th.
