I find it interesting that after 2 yrs of positive affirmations and meditations, my ego can still override my being. That stinker got me to eat cheese out of control. Not 1 serving, but 6! >: {

I really do practice what I preach but I let my guard down and Ego got the upper hand.

OK, I am burnt out. I just can't do this diet thing any more >:{ I have been miserable since I stopped eating what made me feel the healthiest. I am no longer interested in releasing any more weight. I just want to feel alive again. If I release more weight from going back to my own way, that will be a bonus. My WOE isn't like most members on here. I would love for my buddies to still support me as I will with all members on here. Suzyatrws, yes, I will be making the recipes you sent me! Remember, this site is my support system. Don't have one at home. Love to you all!

You should totally eat what makes you feel healthy, in moderation! Now that you've lost all of that weight, perhaps your body can communicate to you what you need honestly. Congratulations on your tremendous success!

What's the first naughty thing you're going to eat!? :D
02 Apr 16 by member: 1point21gigawatts
I agree kpwcalories. philmck, raw almond butter. My WOE, my real favorite, get ready for this, spaghetti squash! I was the biggest sugar and carb addict. Now, I love all whole foods over junk. I always remember not to touch any process food because I won't be able to control myself after the 1st bite.

Sugar, there are probably as many WOEs as there are members here!!! I belive I'm just one of VERY many who will continue to support you in doing something that makes you feel healthy, happy and satisfied. Personally, I'm not big on the "diet thing". I AM a huge fan of doing the "mindful, enjoyable, health sustaining" thing. I'll tell you that you look absolutely beautiful in both your before and after pictures. I do hope you are truly feeling good regardless of what a number on a measuring instrument tells you. What I believe everyone wants for you and for themselves is to NOT be miserable! So go forth and be joyfully UNmiserable.

Maybe my Ego was trying to tell me this would be the best decision at this time. Funny thing, I don't usually eat cheese. I only ate it to stay in keto.

Vickie 5966, I felt my best when I was eating live foods. I never felt deprived and knew I could sustain that WOE the rest of my life. So, I will return to that state of aliveness.

One more thing, I am now 10 lbs lighter than that ghastly after pic. YAY!

Sugar, you have inspired many here myself included. Not because we eat the same but because your consistent, helpful to all and you've persevered to success. I want to do that! There is so much nutrition to be had in raw almond butter and spaghetti squash... you should completely enjoy reintroducing yourself to them :)

There's more to a way of eating than what you're eating, how it makes you feel physically and emotionally are just as important. My wife's sister is close to 500lbs and diabetic. She's watched my weight loss over the last many months, but I never offered her any guidance because she's made it clear that she's HAPPY with the way she eats. Yesterday she had a doctors appointment, called her sister (my wife) when she got home and asked my wife for my diet. THAT'S the only way to help another, when they want it. Trying to force a square peg into a round hole is a recipe for disaster.

I don't think that after pic is ghastly at all! And the color is absolutely striking on you! I know these are big words from a woman who is not yet at a healthy weight....but sustainability is such a key for so many. I'm wishing you much enjoyment in rediscovering those live foods that make you feel wonderful day after day.

I almost forgot, yesterday was a beginning of my personal challenge till July 1st. I will be focusing on using, intention, visualization and meditation. Here's opening another can of worms. I saw a webinar the other day with Marc David and Emily Rosen hosted by Pedram Shojai. It was discussed that how we view food can change our metabolism. Among other things mentioned, I want to do that. I want to see what my results will be. If I am clear on this, I will be at my original goal weight. I will be more peaceful and feel even more alive! I will continue with my gratitude journal.(I slacked off when I used all the pages up. Bought a new one)

suzytrws, when I make the gyros, I will have to eat it without the pita. I don't eat grains. I'll either wrap it in romaine or on serve it on top of mixed greens
