Mrs T is on holiday tomorrow. We were going to go for a drive and have lunch somewhere. However, she has woken up this morning with acute lower back pain (she is blaming me for overwalking her, yesterday). As a result I have booked lunch at the pub next door. Problem is, not needing to drive means I will get a pint! I will have a bowl of soup, then their 10 oz gammon steak with an egg on top. I will see if they will swap the chips for a second egg. But I cannot walk to my local without a pint. Problems, problems.

We've taken to walking a circuitous route to our local. It probably doesn't offset the pint but it's a nod to being good. Enjoy your day!

The invalid will be lucky if she gets up and down the 48 stairs, never mind a circuitous route. I might get a chance to go out on the bike though. Weather permitting.
