So, I've done some thinking and I believe I figured out what caused my gain.
I weighed in a few days early on NYE. That night I drank and nibbled on cheese and crackers to excess. On New Year's Day, I was in a terrible hang over and ate a pint of Häagen-Dazs. Then I didn't eat anything else until almost 9 pm, when I ate a small plate of good luck supper (pork, greens, blackeyed peas) and some chocolate cake. I figure wth those disastrous 2 days (of which I am only allowed 1 cheat day a week) I probably gained weight, and lost all but 0.6 pounds of that.
I'm going to charge on! ♡ It seems like it'd be so easy to just say "eff it!", but I have to remember this is just a minor set back. It happens. I just have to learn from it and go on. I hope I will be back to losing next week!

Yes! THAT is the exact way to go - stuff happens but you are making a lifestyle change and you just jump back to it!

I seem to remember you were a bit amazed at one of your weigh ins over Christmas, like, how did I lose on *that* week?! So I wondered if perhaps this is just a bit of levelling off from that, sometimes it is the following week that it catches up with us. And it's only a very small gain, admirable for this time of year, not like my 5lbs lol! You are doing so well, I'm glad to see it hasn't knocked your spirits :)

Your doing great the holidays are such a difficult time. With them behind us you'll be back in your groove in no time just hang in there.
