Went to the doctor today for my monthly weight loss check. He doesn't think I am eating enough calories or carbs, afraid of starvation mode. I lost 10 pounds since I saw him a month ago. If I eat the 1800-2000 calories he wants me to I won't lose anything! I am afraid to eat more. Went to see the new Star Wars movie. OMGosh! I loved it! May the force be with you!

Everyone drops mad weight when they start a diet. I lost over 20 in my first month. Next time you visit, just tell the doctor you gave up cake & ice cream and leave it at that. Congrats on your loss!

That is great. My dr. Has me on 1000 calories a day and I have a problem getting that many. Just keep on with what you are doing. Your body will tell you if you need more. Remember everyone is different!

I think you are doing great. I too have a problem getting enough calories once I found a diet that worked for me and that I felt I didn't feel like I was starving all the time (low carb). Every 2 or 3 weeks I will have a day where I eat what I want but the calories still stay under 1800. Usually they are under 1000 every day. I quit worrying about it. As long as I lose weight, have energy and no other side effects, who cares. Looking forward to seeing the Star Wars movie in a week or so, too.
