It is a struggle for many. I have had ups and downs multiple times in just one *year* before! Yikes.
Every change counts. Maybe it’s two small pieces of filling bread with lots of seeds and nothing on them, instead of two big pieces of regular bread with butter (if you can still have bread). Maybe it’s cutting out chips and crackers. Maybe it’s having vegetable or pea soup as a full meal, occasionally, when you are used to never having a smaller-than-the-standard meal, even when you are full.
If you can’t, and don’t have to, make a drastic change, e.g., cutting out all carbs other than fruits and vegetables or fasting, you can start small—but it’s a different story if it is required to be drastic!
