This is the OXO julienne peeler I used for my morkovcha recipe the other day. But I JUST realized I peeled that whole bag of carrots (plus a tiny part of my finger) without removing the protective plastic. Ok, this thing is SHARP! Lol. Highly recommend. Just be careful.

The protective plastic is what made you lose only a little bit of a finger and not a big chunk. Lol. I did the same with a mandolin slicer last week.

I’m glad you posted a visual. I looked it up and saw a few so now I know which one to get. Thanks girl. Love you. Should I leave the plastic on? I often grate a finger when I’m grating carrots, so julienning them, I might lose one ha ha ha. 😂

lol! Thanks, guys. The cut finger is still healing and looks pretty gnarly. The trick is to get the largest carrots you can find and don’t let those teeth get at your fingers! Worth the pain though. The carrot salad is delicious and it gets tastier every day that it marinades. Wifey, let me know if you end up tryin it out and pls be careful! Def take the plastic off, lol
