Yes leg day is Ug!!
When I started at the gym regularly, I made Monday leg day, so first day of the week when you are motivated. Leg day has since morphed into my cardio day, and I really need to change that.

Daddy Manatee yeah buddy don't neglect the legs 😬 I have such a love hate relationship with lower body days lately its really hard work and super exhausting yet at the same time I have much better leg genetics than upper body and my progress has been phenomenal for awhile now. Keep after it my friend 💪

Yes I see improvement with legs much faster than upper body too, which is why I figured I’d cut out one or two lifts and do more cardio. As it stands I do leg presses and leg curls with weights. In my cardio routine I do goblet squats, box jumps, lateral box jumps and lunges (body weight for now). The cardio routine is twice a week.
I was doing hack squats but since the heart attack they have been set to the back burner. I’ve been toying with starting just regular squats again, but then I come back to my senses…

I definitely see improvement with your body composition!!
It snowed ⛄️ here in AR for about 2 hours but then it turned into rain & melted!! Some of the teachers in my building let the kids go outside and playing in it ❄️ since we weren’t gonna dismiss, and they had so much fun!

Thanks everyone things have really clicked for me over the past 14 weeks and the progress has been pretty unbelievable. The first 4 weeks were really getting back to my previous strength levels from back in april and since then it's all been new gains. Ive definitely packed on a fair amount of mass it will be very interesting to see what my final weight will be after the cut I would absolutely love for it to be 165lbs that would be a 9lbs of muscle gain but I will be happy with whatever it ends up being. For now I just need to keep trusting the bulk since I've reached the point where the abs have gone into hiding and some of my definition has gone away but it's worth it and for now I look way bigger with a shirt on thanks to little extra fat plus the extra muscle underneath. Keep after it and you will surprise yourself with what your capable of!

You have this bulk thing and cut stuff figured out this time. Proud of you. I still remember the day you were gonna bail on us. Remember? We all had a little chat with you and I’m so glad you listened. Look at you now!! Seriously, struggles turn to triumphs when we do things right. And that cow in your leg proves it!! 😎👍🏻

wifey9707 thanks always learning and trying to improve its funny I looked back on some old posts that had my workout listed in them and I said to my self what was I thinking 🤣🤣 we live and hopefully learn. yes I remember my little break down well a bit mad at myself for getting as upset about it as I did but after 10 months of work I was pretty mad at myself that I would never get what I wanted because of past mistakes. anyway I look back and it's dumb and superficial I'm not a body builder I'm never stepping on stage, I'm just a dad in his late 30s a wanna be "athlete" that likes to lift heavy things up and down and get muddy 🤣
