Managing to work out despite the broken foot, using the seated elliptical and the arm bike, as well as lots of upper body, weight machines, and some low body for the other leg. Also doing non weight bearing strength training on the injured leg. Managing to control my portions for the most part and reduce what I’m eating. I’m hoping at this point just to maintain my weight not really thinking I’ll be able to lose right now. I haven’t weighed myself since I got this walking cast on don’t want to depress myself too much.

Hey there! Somehow I missed your earlier post when you injured your leg. It sounds painful just reading about it! Good for you for exercising the rest of your body while your leg heals. Being in maintenance, basically, for a while sounds reasonable enough to me. Hopefully it won’t be too long before you can get back to your usual activities.

Fingers crossed it’s not too long until I can get this cast off! I have a follow up with the doctor on August 7. She’ll re-x-ray at that time and I hope to God the news is good.
