Really disappointed, I am being careful with what I am eating and managing to gain weight . I feel like I am better off not knowing 😔

I know the feeling, I get that sometimes too, r u weighing everything correctly? counting sauces oils too? xx

Addison5712, I thought we supposed to weigh ourselves daily. Is that wrong?

Not yourself, lol, ur food, ur supposed to weigh all of ur food including butter, oils, dressings and sauces. Yourself it's up to u, I weigh daily but only record once a week, some ppl record their weight every day tho xx

....sometimes people's body goes into survival mode and stores but it will reverse....I'm trying not to ear after 5pm...its a struggle but we will see....lol...Good luck and try not to put any pressure on yourself as stress can impact on things....take care x

I know that feeling too Ann, most of last month I was gaining, I still don't really know why. It is very disheartening- but stick at it, it will get back to normal! I weigh myself everyday, but only log my weight here weekly. Just do what works best for you. (I also used the fact I was gaining anyway as an excuse to indulge a little☺)

You're still in a calorie surplus. You may be underestimating what you eat - you need to include sauces, cooking oils, butter etc in your calculations and lower accordingly

Hello Annf4, are you counting all your liquid in take because its all calorie counted. Try not to eat late, Don't snack in-between meals. Always eat before food shopping. If you are doing this. I wasn't weighing my food before I thought 4 grames was a big portion eg eating 40g of yoghurt was 150+ grams so if you can weigh do so it helps a huge amount. If you bite it, write it. That goes for any kind of liquid as well. I do best when I weigh/measure ALL food and drink very carefully. As others have said, it is the careless calories that hold onto those pounds. 😊
