YES!!! new toy came in today. loving the trap bar not causing the elbow pain for now that the barbell was causing. start with some 275 deads and see what else I can do with it.

@ajbusjahn thanks honestly wouldn't know what is or isn't impressive I only lift at home and have nothing to compate to. Commercial gyms aren't my scene. Trues some other exercises out with it Maybe some non traditional ones too I used it to do over head presses which I have been avoiding all together so that was awesome that I could get those back in again.

@JustBananas thanks I deffintly have been getting those steps in and boy has it taken all of the fat of my calves leaving nothing but muscle. if only I could get the rest of the body to shed the fat like they have.

Those are good for shrugs too! Train your shrugs get big traps and when your wife ask you to know something you don’t wanna do, just shrug cuz that’s what guys with big traps do 😎

Not too much trapezius building! When big traps get paired with a big neck, it makes the head look reeeaaaalllly small. Like Beetlejuice shrunken-head small.🤣

sometime I'll have to try the trap bar. I just do the barbell deadlift, plus I mainly do it to work on my form

Our trainer has us on a trap bar weekly. He works with me on my form all the time but I feel I am getting better and stronger. If I am doing it right I feel it in my glutes! I have had issues with my right elbow but this is a great excercise as you arms are straight thru all the reps.

@Redporchlady progress feels great doesn't it? keep up the Great work. it's my right elbow too and I had no pain at all during or after when using. the trap bar vs thw barbell I've been avoiding for the past few weeks. I will get barbell exercises back I'm soon enough but this will still stay in the mix.

@are1981. I have a crazy steep driveway it has already crossed my mind to throw on the weighted vest and ankle weights load the.new bar up and do some farmers carries up it!

thanks @stormsgirl !! maybe I will have to do a flex Friday calves edition 😆 I never do the flex Friday thing because I'm nowhere close to the muscle level of the other posters maybe the legs qualify lol

I used to use them alot but kind of forgot about them...gotta try it again as they are definitely easier on joint and I can lift heavier.
