I was doing good until the holidays and then I was like oh my goodness. So I talked to my friends and asked them to help hold me accountable and I printed out my before and current pictures and a picture of me skinny and put them up on the fridge so I could see them every time I opened it. Hope this helps!

I tell myself when I'm hungry or just craving, that it's a Good Thing. I try to enjoy the feeling by telling myself to be hungry means I'm dropping weight. "Just get through this day" I'll say. When you Crave, don't let yourself think about food, but rather on the pounds your body is shedding and enjoy the feeling..

Go on amazon.com and read reviews for a book called "Becks Diet Solution". It helps with the way we think about food, motivation, changing behaviors, etc. Your local library might have it. They give you strategies on how to deal with food issues. Go to Pinterest.com and type in "fitness motivation or inspiration". The pics, quotes, recipes, etc. always get me motivated and moving. Put the scale in front of the fridge. Go to walmart and get a cheap cork board. Put reasons why you want to lose on it, pics for motivation, recipes, etc. Try out new recipes. Some great sites: emilybites.com, skinnytaste.com, skinnykitchen.com, cookinglight.com Find ways to get yourself excited about losing again. Start from the beginning. If you workout at home, get some new videos, a new exercise outfit, etc. Take a new exercise class you have always wanted but to afraid to try. Look at your chart. Look at that downward spiral. How amazing is that!!!! Now quit the pity party and get moving. You gotta get down to the line which is your goal weight. You can do it!!!!

I prepare/portion all of my food out the night before and put it into a lunchbox. That way, the next day I don't have to think about a thing. If it's not in the lunch box, it's not in my meal plan. (I also wait until after dinner to plan and prepare the next day's meals so it's based on logic rather than impulses).

One day at a time. I have little zip lock bags and I prepare my food daily. It helps, when I feel as though I want to over snack I grab some baby carrots or cucumbers. I try and drink lots and lots of water that keeps me full. I also stop eating after 7:00pm if I get home in time. At night when I feel hungry I get a bottle water and drink it down and try and do something around the house to get my mind off food. I work out around 7:30pm-8:30pm, by then it's almost bed time.

Hard to maintain huge changes. Small manageable changes are sustainable.
