Somewhat disappointed that my 3.5 hp motor treadmill from China has not arrived yet and in fact its delivery date has been pushed back to May 3. But that’s OK because I’m still healing from me hip injury on both sides. Not sure yet if it’s even going to require surgery. But I promise when the treadmill comes I will just do some very leisurely walking. No “jogging” til after next weeks arthrogram… do they hurt btw? The contrast agent makes me feel nervous 😬…. These are dancers hips after all, classically trained. And I’m not in any rush to do further damage. But alas, I purchased the dang thing two months ago so I wish it would hurry up already.
Having a lovely Friday, got the whole house clean, now I will be resting because the vacuuming and mopping and picking up has been way too much. I’ve been on my feet doing my normal housewife and motherly routine for a full eight hours, nothing new. And I feel how I must feel when I am 105 years old. Now, in order to be able to merely walk through the house for the rest of the day, I will have to soak in 6Cups of Epson salt and then on a heating pad ….take ibuprofen Tylenol etc. etc. 🤦♀️ moral of the story is take care of your body because eventually it will wear out and you will need new parts 😝
One thing I never got into FatSecret was routinely logging my exercise output. But while I am healing from these dang injuries I will perhaps venture towards that part of the app. Any faithful activity loggers around here? Wondering about the accuracy of the database.
I have a sitter lined up for tomorrow night as it is a long overdue date night just in time for our toddler daughter to fall sick. Nothing too serious I hope, she will be going to the doctor shortly. So my grand plan for seduction may have to wait. Kaybuckaroo is always ready though FatSecret. 🤣🤠 Have a beautiful Friday and live kind
