p$m's Journal, 28 Feb 22

Soo I go up and I go down. I realize by now I have a 2-3 pound fluctuation depending on when I eat. I just wish my baseline was lower so the fluctuation doesn't feel so bad (above my start weight).

I finally went back to skiing yesterday after taking 2 weeks off since I heard the pop in my knee. It felt better but I remained cautious and didn't go too fast so I wouldn't have to use too much pressure to turn or slow down. It was very controlled. I hope I can go again this weekend and squeeze as much out of the season as I can. I am disappointed that I did not get as far as I wanted to this season in my skills. Ha... seems the same with my weight loss. Not getting as far as I wanted to. I would have liked to have lost at least 3 pounds since Jan. Well, I will continue to trudge along.

I'm happy to see the people who are losing and wish I could join your tribe. Tomorrow is a new month and I will try again to be more disciplined.

You are in our tribe. We all have these ups and downs. Yesterday I was so disappointed because my scale read the exact same weight as it did a week ago. Prior to this, I had been losing 2 pounds a week....and then today, I'm down those 2 pounds. Honestly, I don't really put too much attention on the scale. I figure if my scale shows a specific weight consistently, then I am that weight...if it fluctuates, then I am on the right path. We're all in this together.
