Woke at 230.8, down .5 from yesterday. I spent the weekend doing serious study of my weight over the past seven years (Fitbit records). I see that 30-35 pounds ago (circa 2014-2015), I was strictly hitting my macros and calorie targets and working out religiously. I'm not doing either of those these days, and my lack of progress shows that. I also noticed significant LASTING effects of holidays and vacations where I threw caution to the wind and ate with reckless abandon. This past Christmas/New Years' celebration was no different -- I'm still 15 pounds heavier than I was a day or two before Christmas. I will get more serious in March. UPDATE: Weighed 231.0 at 5 pm.

Yes, Crystal. Every now and then I look back through. The encouraging thing is that some of my lowest weights are not too terribly earlier or later then some of my highest weights. So, it will not take to long to get back when I commit to it.

Food is substitute something for you , recall what you were doing when you ate less . Maybe you had a hobby. Ideally we should eat when we are really hungry (physical symptoms in the stomach area), not due to mental emotional hunger. That’s what I’m learning to do. I heard this and it made sense: By over eating person is shortening their life on average by 16 years. We can eat way more food by eating less.
