New day, new week, new diet plan. This is just something I found online, it appears to be a high protein low carb eating plan, though I have no idea how many calories or how much protein. I guess I'll have to actually log the meals to find out, LOL! Anyway, feeling pretty discouraged that my weight is still up, the weight lifting may not be the answer to my body fat issue. I know, I need to be more patient, it takes time to build muscle. I went grocery shopping for all the meals on this plan, wrote out the week's menu so I've got that covered. Tonight I'll go to the gym, maybe see if I can push the weight up a bit. And HOPEFULLY remember to take my notebook with me so that I can write this down!

On a non-weight subject, hubby & I joined a ukulele group lesson, first meeting was yesterday. We bought ukes while in Hawaii back in May, not the cheap souvenirs but some high-quality Kala ukes. I played guitar for many years (though not much lately), but hubby's never really played anything before! I think he'll have an easier time with this than me, because I've got so many years of guitar playing that will likely interfere with this instrument. They're similar, but not the same! Anyway, take care & have a good Monday (if such a thing is possible).

Looked at some parts once and they are indeed very different. On the other hand, it's only four strings and other fingering, you should be able to adapt pretty quickly. I think it's like to try that art some point too, it looks like fun. Keeping our minds busy makes avoiding overeating much easier.
