We drove to Lake Gregory to shop for a new controller for our small dripper system in Crestline. Our cabin is about 10 miles above Lake Arrowhead. The snow in the winter freezes the water that is left in the controller and damaged it. My husband got ice cream like 3 days ago in Arrowhead and I did not even taste it either time. I am being quite strict. I made him potato for his roast, I had cauliflower. Last night I made him Linguini with clam sauce but had none. The only treat I've had is a piece of watermelon today and 2 days ago. I had very low calories yesterday, and by hour 16 of IF today I was quite dizzy. The day before my last weigh-in I was 116.8 but went to 117 with salty gravy, which I figured would come off. Although I don't have a scale, up here at my cabin (thought one was here) I'm sure I have to be down to at least 116.5 or lower. My $450. challenge is actually 114.5 but I need to allow for clothing. Neither Debbie nor I would want to send in our videos naked. I believe when I weigh this Sunday I should only have 2 lbs to lose by July 7th. My current Intermittent Fasting is never less than 16 hours a day, sometimes more. In the past, at this weight, it could take me a month to lose one pound. With my back, I can't be too active yet, I still have to lay down several times a day.

I came up with an idea that I am pleased with. I am willing to fast several days to be able to reach my goal by July 7th but at this low weight, I get very dizzy and even start to faint. Next week if it looks like I will have to get more serious with my calorie limitation, I could do a limited or modified fast for longer than an all-out complete fast. I could IF for about 18 hours or so a day, then have a couple of eggs to keep up my strength and some low-calorie vegetables and broth to help fill me. No fruit or higher calorie items. It sounds doable.

Sounds like you've got a plan, friend. Don't want you fainting (especially with your back!) so do what you need to ward off that possibility. Good choices, even though having to prepare other things for your husband. I made him mashed potatoes, gravy, pork roast, sauerkraut and cherry-pie-filling-topped cheesecake. Maybe I'll freeze a portion or two to have when I come off the fast! I froze some of the TGI Friday's Chicken I made last week.
