We are in the mountains at our little cabin but no scale or internet connection until now. We haven't been up here since November when we turned the water off for the winter. The weather is running up to 93 degrees during the day but that's better than the inland valley we live in. We are above 6,000 feet elevation. The neighbors say there was a late frost about a month ago, and a lot of the new leaves died. We are slowly doing the raking ourselves. My husband has to wear his oxygen machine on his back. In the back yard, once the leaves are raked into piles a neighbor will come to get them for his chickens, although it may take him a couple of months to complete that. In the front, there is only a small driveway and we raked and bagged those, and I washed it down with the hose. I'm trying to be very careful of my back. He has about 2 more days of raking in the back (several hours a day) plus the hill which I don't think we will tackle that. I have no idea if I will make it to 114 by July 7th.
