tandtr- I'm scared to death to even try a neti pot. Seems super uncomfortable. 😳

Thanks everyone. The Advil product is working. I just haven't had a cold in almost 2 years or more so I'm a baby. I do believe it's allergies. Post nasal drip hurting my throat and making me lose my voice sounding like Bea Arthur. 😊

I'm sorry you aren't feeling so great. I agree with the neti pot if your sinuses feel really bad and you are super clogged. I'v personally only had to do it a couple times but it really works. You will feel so much better afterwards. It feels kind'v weird at first but it's really not that bad. It is definitely good that you are drinking a lot of water.

Have you ever been tested for allergies? I got shots for about 11 years and I really built up an immunity to all the stuff I was allergic. They really do work.

The advanced form of Neti pot technique isn't hard to master. It's what's needed to rinse the upper sinus. If one is not afraid of water and understand the correct technique it's easy. No drugs needed. It's been used hundreds of years. Most people who don't like it haven't tried or done it correctly...

I had a 2 week nasty sinus, cold, allergy episode just before I went on vacay. It was the first time I used Advid sinus pressure (it was on sale 😆) and it worked great. Feel better and you’ll blow out those 2lb in the next day or so hahah

The change of seasons always seem to get to me too. It wasn't that way when I was younger but as I have gotten older it has become a seasonal battle.

I understand!!! Maybe you can tolerate one more tip?😂 Here’s mine. Hydrotherapy. You’ll need two basins and a snorkel gadget. Fill one basin with ice water and the other with the hottest water you can stand. Put a snorkel gadget or straw in your mouth to breathe through or otherwise just hold your breath. Plunge your face in the hot water for a few minutes , then to the ice water for about 30 seconds or so. Do this for about 7 revolutions , finishing with cold. This will feel good, and help drain your sinus cavity. To help heal them: hold off on dairy (encourages mucus) and sugar (cripples healing white cells) for a bit and increase water, avoid irritants. These are my opinions and I may not know what I am talking about! All the best!🌸

Hello. I have chronic reoccurring sinusitis. I even had sinus surgery in 2014. I had an excellent ENT. He left tho - went to a major hospital in Chicago. He begged me not to use antibiotics or OTC’s when it hit bad!! He insisted on daily nasal rinses - which I do religiously - like brushing my teeth in the morning and night. And when sinuses get BAD, he advised to increase the rinses to 4 or 5 times a day; and take Tylenol for pain until better. That always works - and yes, the first 36-48 hrs are ROUGH…but then gets better! Good luck!

This is the Neti pot that I use. It's industrial size gets the job done in less rinses... https://www.ayurvedapura.com/usd/neti-pot-stainless-steel
