Getting ready to make delicious taco soup from this site. Then I am going outside to garden. Blasting Talking Heads on the stereo. Have a client far away to get done and everyone seems to be cancelling appointments and wanting things I can't deliver. I feel like there has been some kind of shift in me. Like if my clients can't make and keep appointments, I am no longer going to bend over backwards to accommodate them. I actually let go of 3 clients last week and I honestly don't care. I'm sick of working late, driving all over, buying supplies for appointments that they cancel at the last minute...and I wind up being over tired, stressed, late and missing the gym.... I just feel like I am done with all this foolishness from people (clients) and just really need to focus on myself for a while.

Thanks. Right after I posted that I received a call from my friend who has been in and out of hospital for weeks (and I am her go to caregiver) She needs me again. Now, before I sound like a crappy friend...she smokes like a chimney, never gets off the couch and makes fun of my healthy eating habits and exercise program and of course, my weight....I didn't answer the phone. Think I'm gonna call my counselor.
Why do I keep attracting people like this.
After the call, I had the urge to eat a bag of chips in front of the tv..
