I don’t know if it will help you but when I get in a mood like that I do actually allow myself to ‘binge’ or eat more/ a lot but I do it with protein foods like mince or chicken or eggs or cheese. Cheese especially actually I find helps with cravings because it’s nice and rich. It feels like it satisfies things quicker than bingeing on sweet stuff. I also keep theCaring Candies caramel and mint sweets and find that plus some sugar free hot chocolate helps.

Hi blood rose, jespes gave some helpful advice. I also sometimes want to binge on all things sweet and savory. That usually happens when I’m hungry and didn’t eat well for the past few days. Best thing is to have a high protein meal and have a sweet treat afterwards. The protein will get you full quicker and the treat is just to say,”I had it”,and feel satisfied🙂 not all is lost. It’s Best to prepare for these days and have the proteins you enjoy eating, handy in the fridge or freezer so you can quickly heat them up. Or if you can afford it, get those low carb protein bars or make your own. You are doing great❣️ one day of indulgence won’t mess up your week nor will one day of eating good make you drop weight fast. It takes time. You’ve got this 💖

Thanks for the tip, I think I will go shopping and try find some ready on hand not too guilty binge foods when the cravings hit badly Caring Candies sound good, I think woolies has some little pots of sorbet or frozen yoghurt that could work, haloumi cheese is my go to when I want to indulge whats worse the cheese or the bread im not sure lol Anyone got any other ideas on savory foods like chips but healthier that I can substitute

I find also popcorn even though I’m trying to stay low carb I can manage a few cups of salty popcorn And not to put of ketosis, and that saltiness I find helps.

You binge because you let your sugar levels drop. You cutting out foods that your body needs probably? I dont believe any food group should be cut. Fats, Carbs, Protein all is good. obviously within reason and good fats or good carbs. I eat 4x a day. For example I eat a spinach and frozen blackberries smoothie, inside the smoothie I add less than half a banana, 6x almonds, half a scoop of weigh and a cup of water, snack I have 28g of cheese and 56g of ham, lunch I will have a chicken salad or two eggs, an apple and teaspoon of peanut butter and dinner I will have chicken breast veg or salad. But in these meals I include good fats, good protein and good carbs. Otherwise if I cut those out my diet, my natural sugar levels drop and I crave and want to binge eat. If you feel like something sweet during the evening, make a cup of rooibos tea with half a sweetener.

I eat either OMAD or occasionally 2 meals but I don't cut any food groups out, I eat fats, carbs, fruits, proteins etc .... the binge eating thing is generally a hormonal/emotional triggered thing, I have quite severe anxiety at times and when under stress binge eating became a nasty habit for comfort ... trying to break that cycle and most of the time Im successful but sometimes it cant be helped ...

Allow yourself to binge your body is trying to take you out of starvation mode or it is trying to communicate that you are missing some nutrients try to supplement important nutrients in your body and don’t feel bad for eating just binge on the correct foods I’m going through the same thing and I keep myself away from binging carbs and bread cause they make me more hungry binge on watermelon and a whole cucumber the water content in them fills you up and fools your brain. Hope this helps I know it’s not pleasant but the more you feel guilty you starve your body the things it needs

We all experience setbacks one way or another, it's human🌸. Don't focus on the setback, rather apply your energy to the present and future goal and move ahead. You've made great progress so far, you can do it😘.

Well I can see progress in my habits at least, I didn't stop at the garage after work and get complete junk like I used too and today I'm back to healthy again where as previously I used to just go well this week is ruined and continued to eat junk and start again Monday ... baby steps

Old habbits die hard, so well done to you for staying strong in tempted times. You can feel proud🌸. Each day is a new beginning. One ruined day doesn't have to turn into an entire ruined week👌. And it's something that a lot of people, including me, struggle with. Thank you for sharing and for the motivation.
