Erq, she sure does. Piloxing Fridays are theeeee worst. I’m sore for the weekend. My weight hasn’t changed bc my diet is about the same. Instead of walking 9k steps around my home, I’m walking like a crab with weights 😅😅😅

Looking fit. I also see the biggest changes with regular moderate to high intensity exercise. That's what's recommended anyway, at least 30 minutes of moderate to high intensity exercise 5 times a week, and it's even better if you can do more than that.

Looks like it's working great for you. I just see so much anti-exercise sentiment when in fact, there is nothing wrong with or extreme about doing an hour of exercise that gets your heart rate up 4-6 days a week if you're healthy enough for it. Only benefits.

Lc, agreed. It almost seems like there’s an anti-health movement going on. Honestly, I don’t really like when I’m actually working out. The weights are heavy, my hamstrings are tight, I could be sleeping in... the complaints and excuses can roll in. What keeps me going is that I looooove the results. Weight loss through calorie restriction is possible but I want to look toned and not skinny fat. 💯 on the same mindset that there is only benefit to exercise under normal circumstances.

I know, or a fragility movement, where anything more demanding than stretching is seen as extreme. Please. With you on wanting good body composition. Incidentally, I found photos of myself after several months eating low-carb and not exercising at all where I was thinner (I had gone down a couple of sizes) but STILL had a significant belly, flab all over, and just didn't look good. I was eating NO sugar and no refined or even whole grain carbs at the time. A few nights ago, I took photos of myself in a bikini, and even though I'm not 100% satisfied with my midsection, the difference is huge. Flatness! Definition. Shape. And my arms and shoulders are nothing like the flabbiness from the pre-exercise days. Anyway, all that to say that I find a combination of calorie balance and exercise to give the best results.
