Down 2 pounds, so the diet switch-up is working. Maybe it's a few things: I started weighing my food, which I was worried would make me obsessive, but it's more gadgety fun instead. I also tracked my calories this time, which I'm stopping now because I've established that no matter how much fruit I eat in a day, I'm never going to hit even 900 calories. So it's an established "safe" food for me. Thirdly, I didn't eat any salt or added sugar this week (I take my coffee black anyway, and I cut out my usual teaspoon of sugar in my hot tea, which reduced its flavor, but not enough to bother me).

I tried a new food this week: frozen grapes (OMG -- why have I never tried these before??? They're like candy!).

After a week of all fruit, the side effects for my skin is nothing short of amazing. I woke up this morning and my face is smooth, clear and GLOWING. Another bonus is that all week I've had tons of energy. Fruit being a carb, this is to be expected, but still a nice experiment. Sleep totaled 6-7 hours/night.

Downside: Some of the fruits made me belly-bloated (watermelon, grapes), in part because of their high water content, but also because I ate 5+ cups of them each day. I was fine by morning, and I realize that this past week of all-fruit was just the cleanse portion, but it wasn't the best feeling. 😕

This week's menu is still heavy on the fruit, but breads and veggies are being added in slowly. Happy Sunday, Everyone! Wishing you success for your efforts this week!

The more expensive the label, the more realistic the dress size. I would try on clothes at Tory Burch and fit a size 4. Find a similar article of clothing in Ann Taylor or Banana Republic, and theirs were a size 0. How's that for vanity?🤣😂🤣 So I go by the upscale designer sizing instead. For giggles, I did just measure my waist: 32" today. I have jeans that are 28" & 29" in my closet, awaiting my body. WORK TO DO!

Grapes are also wonderful in smoothies!!! I noticed my skin improved too when I used to make smoothies with them, and kale or spinach.

JustBananas you were so on it!! My husband was on a conference call and his brother had joked with someone else about the ramps being closed and the joke went over my husband’s head and he believed Fauci closed them and the fishing tournament was off. I told him that you said it didn’t look like it, so he called down there and you were right, nothing is closed, THANK GOODNESS!!!😅 I need him to go fishing!😆 He loves it so! Being out of work and then his tournaments being canceled wasn’t going to cut it. Thanks for the info!!!👌💕
