melissatwa's Journal, 27 Dec 20

I'm happy to be back to blue and close to returning to "goal," however I fasted yesterday. I know there will be some upward scale movement yet to come. I've avoided both the bathroom scale and kitchen scale for the better part of a week. I've got some work to do. Within this coming week, two of my kids have their birthdays and there is New Year's. I sure don't feel like being careful, but... I must be more careful or I will be quite unhappy with the results. I'd like to do a solid month of recording my weight daily, or at least more often than weekly. Onward we trudge!!! 😁

Thank you, Diana! I have heard lovely things about the Daniel's fast for 'eventually' feeling good. I would be afraid of how difficult it would be to have enough protein to not lose muscle. I know people manage! Having done it before, if you do it again you know what to expect. Good luck!!! Fasting totally for even a day occasionally does help me focus and feel better!

ocean_girl, thank you! Four of my five kids have their birthdays in the next six weeks. Let's just say it isn't as crazy as it used to be when they were small and I was planning parties endlessly right after Christmas!!!

Chris!!! Quite seriously I had tears reading that message. You know the strain and troubles we have had more than just about anyone.... This last week has included some excruciatingly difficult times for one of my girls. Sometimes there are smiles through the tears for sure. Without your help, I wouldn't for sure have faltered. I do feel like I have, but your encouragment... The kind, the teasing, and the tough kind all has helped me so much! I have barely hung on so many times, and I doo feel so dreadfully soft, but I will get strong again... In lots of easy! We have to hang on, Chris! It hasn't been an easy road for you either this year, Mr muscle!! Thank you, Chris!

Thank you, br_e_co, John and Bill! I'm so thankful for your support, lads! I'll probably go up and down a bit more before all is said and done for the year... What a year... 😅
