Well, today is my weigh in day. I do this at the gym before my class. I know weighing myself in the afternoon doesn't give an accurate reading, but at least it's the same time every week (4:30 est. I am not anticipating any weight loss. I didn't do the best food wise this week, but at least I ditched to hooch (except for one day, but let us not discuss that). I am ready for my afternoon class which is a total body work out (with weights). I find that I am much more inclined to finish a work out in front of a class full of people rather that inside the privacy of my home. I know that one should have protein after a workout and I do have the powder to to mix the drink, but it's loaded with carbs. I'm curious if there are any (reasonably priced) ones out there that are low carb?

You can try simple protein powder (with no carbs added). Herbalife or Amway for example. You can add it to a fat free yogurt, curd cheese or something else. Or you can add protein powder to their own chocolate, strawberry, vanilla drinks, but as you said - these last flavored ones contain carbs. Good luck!
