Cauliflower+almond+egg

What quantities are you using to make the crust ? As it looks much thicker than mine did

I used about 800g cauli, 100g ground almonds and 2 eggs. It was a little thicker than normal pizza base and I left the edges thicker, it held together well. Baked it 180 for 25mins first before applying precooked veggies and cooked a further 10 mins at 240.

once you have finely chopped cauli you need to microwave it for 6-8 minutes then leave too cool before adding almond and egg

Hi H Do you have to squeeze out the water from the cauliflower once it's cooked? Or is that the reason why my pizza base broke up ? I Will be making your recipe tomorrow

Hi, to make the base I microwaved cauli for about 8 mins, it was soft but not soggy. I left it covered until it was cool and then squeezed out the water (there wasn't much). Added ground almonds and 2 eggs and mixed together. It formed a slightly sticky batter. lined a tray with baking paper and piled the mix into the centre and then spread out with the back of a spoon to form the base, leaving it slightly thicker at the edge, baked at 180 for 25 mins.
