That's awesome! I also had to find something to keep myself busy and I took up latch hooking.

Its definitely true that if you have a yen for something you shouldn't have, if you leave it long enough, that yen goes away. I wonder if its a blood sugar thing.

THOSE ARE SO CUTE! I have some that look like strawberries to fool the birds. Bet you could make a little extra cash at the farmers market. I binge on homestead you tubers. I probably know more about chickens than the average person who has no chickens. I'm kinda like that... Research.... read.... watch.... plot... research .... plan...research.... locate someone who has what I am thinking of and discuss my plan and ask questions.... locate proper equipment... do whatever in my mind for 6 months... while researching design and then maybe in a year after I have re-drawn the plans 1/2 a hundred times I might just do it. So I suppose what that ramble was bout is find a pet project outside your sphere of experience and plot it out! It does not matter whether you implement your plans or not. If I did all I have plotted out... I would have a 1 acre green house with a pool, tons of Koi, a GINORMOUS swamp cooler and spend most of my retirement in a home made Eden, eating what I grew in there. I would only have to come out for toilet paper... LOL. So there you have it. Currently I am plotting a food Forrest for my new house and retirement...(of which I have neither) . So studying perma-culture, Huegel-culture, Vermi-culture, gardening websites, food Forrest planning books, organic gardening... the more complicated i make it the further into it i get and loose track of time and I forget to eat.
