Hello everyone. Been a few days since I was able to write here, let alone keeping up with my diet calendar. I've been running ragged lately with work. I am a founding member of a startup and the U.S. economic times are smacking us hard, so a couple of us have been contracting ourselves out on consulting gigs to bring some revenue into the company to keep us afloat. To think, I took a paycut and left a stable job to take this risk...but I wouldn't have it any other way. You have to work hard to get the reward. It's the way I look at life and my weight-loss. When I look at the troubles in the U.S. economy, one word keeps coming to mind, greed. Greed in the housing market, greed on wall street. When you become overweight, greed is there to. You don't stop to catch your breath (nor close your mouth), when it comes to eating. You eat far more than you should and forget what is important. Working hard to maintain a healthy long-lived lifestyle. I don't know what the future holds for our company or my life, but I do know that I won't let greed take a part in deciding it.
