Draglist's Journal, 11 May 20

Woke at 224.2, up .2 from yesterday after a Mother's Day celebration that included BBQ and cake. I'm going to be taking the calories down to about 2000 for every two days this week in order to get back on track. May have to leverage veggies to get the bulk in for low calories. Started the day with weights, water, and black coffee. Having steak tonight. UPDATE: Ate a hard-boiled egg and some turkey for lunch. Weighed in at 4:15 at 223.2. Wrapping up the workday and looking forward to some steak!

Veggies will make you drop in a hurry,:) thats why i am trying to add cucumbers and beefsteak tomatoes into the mix! :)

Bill, this is a great time to add fresh Veggies as summer comes along. You have always been good at making adjustments to further your goals.

Your example of having super low cals or fasting after a higher cal day has really helped me over the last weeks. Gaining balance throughout the week as the goal makes me feel like less of a failure. It can almost feel like disordered eating or that I don't have control, but if it is my choice to feast a day sometimes and then count the cost the next day? Well, it isn't what I want to do all the time, but I appreciate seeing how you have worked your food plan to fit your life.
