Here's an interview with Dr. Hyman of the Cleveland Clinic on Keto. It's a good discussion, useful as and introduction, but also some details for more experienced keto dieters. He's one of my favorite health educators. He has a wonderful youtube or podcast series called The Doctor's Farmacy - all about how food affects our health. He's wise and funny and always interesting.

Your story sounds like my story. I had a concussion, brain injury, and it took me 2 years to be able to even talk normal. I also gained a lot of weight and I also cannot eat grain. I got started on this journey back in 2014 and listened to dr. Hyman on his summits. I have followed him and other health functional medicine practitioners for all this time. 5 years. It has also helped me to join FS to get the support I need. I tried many times to do this alone and I was never successful. I support you and I will watch your post and follow you. You're doing great!

Erika, so glad you've joined the community and that you're having fun while getting healthy. I am also doing Keto. I've tried so many times but I just could not figure it out. I got it figured out finally and I know I have a lot more to learn, but at least I know how much I can eat in a day without gaining weight again. I sit in the chair most of the time because of the fracture in my back and all the other health issues. I will encourage you as often as I see you posting.
