Does anyone have any tips to beat cravings in the evening?? I always want chocolate or other things in the evening after dinner around 7-9pm, and as I am usually relaxing/watching TV at that time, it's hard to fight! I have tried eating dinner later but my family eat quite early so it's often difficult. Thanks for any help!

If I want to snack I eat a small fresh fruit salad with 0% fat natural yoghurt.especially with bananas as they can help you sleep as well.

If you have a very carbohydrate based meal, it can strengthen craving for more later. Or if under nourished with fat and/or protein your body will tell you it needs more food. Maybe make sure there's enough protein and fat in the meal - on average RDA for an adult is 25% Fat, 25% Protein and 50% Carbohydrate. I realy like that Fat Secret shows us the breakdown of what we eat per day.

Sugarfree jelly :) if you’re on a low carb diet then add a dollop of cream and some berries. I make jelly with sugarfree dilutable juice and gelatine and quick freeze it when I want a sweet snack. Frozen berries means you always have some to hand and they help set the jelly quicker.

If you have a nutrininja style blender then make a protein whip: scoop of flavoured protein powder, 8 ice cubes, 220ml water and 1/3rd xantham gum. Incredible.

I found something amazing; Yeo Valley 0% fat vanilla yogurt. It has a nice yet filling after taste and makes me feel not hungry if I have it for dinner/as a snack in the evening!! Highly recommend :)

I don’t eat any carbs apart from that found in non starchy vegetable s. I save calories to allow me 15 g peanuts and 25g of cheese that I grate. I also don’t drink alcohol on my fast days. I’m doing fast 800 diet and only eat between 1 and 8.
