Not all Snakes are bad. Snakes eat bugs, mice and other small creatures; most of them are beneficial to us. My sons used to catch garter snakes and put them inside their shirts. LOL! We had an excellent book they used to identify the various snakes they encountered in our area.

Shirfleur 1 , I know that not all the snakes are bad, but I can't tell which one is good and which one bad,so.

I don't think I would play with them though.

That's not a small snake to me. Haha all snakes are huge, and I just back up and walk away. They all have a purpose so I leave them alone and I hope they will leave me alone also.

if you put out some music with bass, that will drive them away and they can go eat rats, mice and other vermin.

LOL! Wifey, hardly any snakes know how to open doors and windows! Though I did find a rat snake in my bathroom once. I was stark naked and couldn't decide if I was going to run out of the room screaming as I was, or put my robe on first (since my children were in the house, I opted for the robe).

It's uncomfortable to have them around your legs. Wish I knew more about the good and bad ones. While living in Australia, only one was considered bad because of its agressive nature. The rest was pretty much busy with their own stuff, and you had to provoke them to make them go to defence mode. Tried to get used to having deadly snakes in the garden while living there, but when a whole family moved in I had to chase them away. Sounds like you get a whole lot of full body workout done, annd sun as well. Great stuff.

LOL! I know. But it’d make me feel safe. 😂😂

Diddlee, someone recently told me round eyes/pupils and nose are safe. Those with the venom holes, more pointed nose and catlike pupils are poisonous. Personally I don’t get close enough to their head to check lol. If the leave quickly the are spared. If not then I do as Keilin did.
