I finally had to break up with chips. I’m powerless over them.

Chips are my weakness. I don't keep them around. You've done so well. No self-sabotage allowed.

@Jcmamma veggie chips are AWESOME! Reg chips used to be a nightly thing with me. I could almost hear my bathroom mirror crying when I had that habit. Buttt...hey we're human and we all have vices. I tell ya tho, munching on some almonds or pistachios helped ween me off snacking like that. Pistachios seems more fun because they take longer to eat since they need to be de-shelled. I also used to divulge in popcorn. It was nothing to kill a huge bowl of it. Now, if I do want popcorn, I reach for the single serving microwave bags. You can eat a whole bag and not actually eat a WHOLE BIG BAG.

Chips are one of my binge trigger foods, along with ice cream. They are like crack; I can't have them in the house. I know your feeling so well.

I really like them too!! I actually buy chips but the kids house them lol and I don’t crave them as much as I used to.

I can not do the peanut butter filled pretzels. They are so dry and one tried to claim my life one day😩😂

My weakness is the Amish store we go to every once in a while sells the extra salty hard pretzels. Oh man but I also find I want them after I maybe over do the water.

I think the key part of what Ramblemanje wrote was the Night part of “tonight”. I find my desire for salty snack increases between the hours of 12:30 and 2:30am while binge watching TV show du jour. The 44oz (2lbs 12oz) package of Peanut Butter Pretzels in my office, desk, credenza remains untouched while the one on my kitchen counter is near empty. Does “Time of Day” affect what you eat? Any Thoughts.

Other thoughts – eating a bag of chips per night is not necessarily a bad thing if it is single serving bag – usually about 150 calories …. not difficult to adjust for. 15 minutes on an Elliptical machine will burn those right off.

If you don’t keep those things in your home, the temptation may not be so strong or it may lessen if you have to get up off the couch, get dressed and drive to Walmart.

pork rinds may be a better option . All sorts of flavors. If you can handle eating this sort of thing.. I can't stand it , but most people I know love em...Great for Keto eaters..

Popcorners in the 7oz bag kettle corn flavor..sweet and salty. 1oz 140 calories...800+ calories damnit lol. I bought the single serve but will go back 3 times. I’m doing ok at the moment though. Thanks all!

I had never heard of Popcorners so I looked them up. They sound delicious, but they cost $20.00 per pound. In contrast, Filet mignon is taken from the small end of the tenderloin and is known as the “king of steaks” is about $14.00 per pound and is about 1000 calories per pound as opposed to the 1920 calories for a pound of popcorners. But that won't stop me from giving them a try.

I typically have a cup of hot broth or bouillon when cravings hit at night. The only way I resist chips is to not buy them.

Well they are about $2 a bag either from amazon or their website and are scrumptious! Gluten free and only 4 natural ingredients.

Chips and cheese are my main snack. Well it was. I can go through 1,000 calories if that easy so now I avoid those unless it’s as part of a meal.
