lunch today... brisket (no bbq sauce), spinach & homemade coleslaw> the brisket was from the cafeteria and so was the spinach. Both delicious. No idea why, but afterwards, I was super tired. Like a blood sugar drop or something. I don't normally experience that after eating a nice low carb meal like this.

Some coleslaws have sugar. Ya think this one did? just a thought. Your plate looks great tho!

I made the dressing myself Kissangelgirl, just olive oil, salt, white vinegar & a little bit of avocado oil mayo (has a little bit of sugar). I was surprised that cabbage inherently has a lot of sugar in it! I hate sweet coleslaws so I generally make my own.

Definitely looks good. I may have to try that myself. Needing low carb meal ideas.

Yum! Maybe the vinegar dropped your bs too low.

Ditch the white vinegar and replace with raw apple cider vinegar from Braggs. Tons of health benefits!!! What you felt is the insulin changes. Stay with your clean eating. Hang in!!

that's interesting, I never thought about that! thanks! I do usually use ACV, in dressings etc...but just thought I'd change it up a bit. oh well!
