Day 3 of a planned 3 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

When I look at my numbers, the number one thing that causes me to gain weight is ‘binge eating’. Basically taking in a large excess of calories or carbs or protein. “success”, for me, is based on how many days I can ‘string together’ where I ‘hit my target’ of less than 10 carbs and less than 50 grams of protein. If I hit those two targets I don’t worry about my calories because it is impossible for me to consume more than 1200 calories and it is impossible for me to -stay alive and breathing- for an entire day and not burn 1200 calories.

However, tonight I end my ‘no solid food fast’ and return to eating normal food.

…. And I want a hamburger. I NEED to eat this hamburger. If I try to resist this mental obsession I will eventually ‘break’ and go into a massive ‘eating binge’. So, I need to plan this out carefully and minimize the damage. There WILL be ‘damage’ because there is no way I can have a hamburger and come anywhere near “less than 10 carbs and less than 50 grams of protein”…

Discussed it with @PrincessValerie and we decided instead of a Carl's Jr. Super Star with Cheese (Calories: 930 Carbohydrate: 59g Protein: 48g) we would get:
Carl's Jr. Carl's Catch Fish Sandwich (Calories: 660 Carbohydrate: 75g Protein: 22g). Yes the carbs are a bit higher, but I continue to attempt to reduce my protein.

😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

@ConiMN - The two main 'motivations' with my eating is (1) Feeling 'full' and (2) 'cleaning the plate' - - So, 'smaller bites' would satisfy (2) but I would still need "enough bites" to satisfy (1) - - The 'no solid food fast' actually satisfies (1) and (2).

Soo... What did you decide. I was wondering, like you did with the chicken binge, was there anyone part of that burger you were craving? Just wondering if it's the sandwich bun thing or the beef in the burger.

@Becc@ - I have actually walked that far from my house numerous times so it is definitely doable :)

I guess I was thinking as you're trying to minimize the protein maybe a child's burger on an adult bun to get that bun craving fulfilled.

I'm pushing Pie N Burger, because I really want one. Very selfish of me! 😈 You could walk/run there, but might have to Uber it back home. I usually just roll myself out the door after having a meal there! 🐷 Enjoy whatever you choose. 😊 Home team M&V has a good weekend. 👍

I totally understand the needing to feel full part, that's why when I need that fullness feeling too (the kind where it actually hurts but don't want to stop), I try to choose something low cal yet bulky to minimize the damage. Sort of like the E85 of binge eating... Almost gas but mostly ethanol so it gets the job done... but then, you of course are a Porche, while I'm happy to be a VW bug. :D

@FullaBella - I think it is just a 'mental obsession' that requires no 'logic'. Actually being 'illogical' is a requirement Hahah
