I know my journal is constantly filled with
bitching and moaning so it may appear that all my fasting is not actually working. It *is working* 😊
It allows me to continue lifting weights without getting fat

I need glycogen in my muscles to
lift heavy, and the way I get that glycogen *in* my muscles is to consume carbs. For an
insulin resistant person such as myself, consuming a ton of carbs will make me fat (note: I have 9 months of solid data posted on this site, plus my results from yesterday, to back this up).
So, I ‘water fast’ and ‘no solid food fast’ to *balance out* the gains and to allow myself to continue to lift weights. Yesterday, I was able to hit the WEIGHTS and 🏋🏾
